Hey y’all! For those of you who are current readers, you’ve probably noticed that my blog design has changed a bit. I really want to take blogging seriously this year, so I decided to take the plunge and make the transition from Blogger to WordPress.
I ran into a few complications with transferring my blog posts to this site, and ended up having to reset my entire new blog (after I had created a beautiful design that I loved!), so suffice to say, a lot of hard work has gone into this refresh!
Since I can’t find a way to transfer the posts directly with their comments and likes, I’ll be creating a new archive with all of my old posts, in case you’ve read something on my blog in the past that you’ve really enjoyed!
As I shared in my welcome post on the last blog, here’s a little sneak peak at what you can expect from me:
Lifestyle:
Life is such a journey, and mine is one that I’m willing to share! I love documenting fun events and exciting things that happen in my life, but I’m definitely open to talking about the lows as well. I think this will be a nice section to look back on as I get older, and I hope it helps y’all get to know me a little better!
Healthy Recipes:
I’m pescatarian, but I currently don’t eat dairy or egg yolks, so I definitely have to be creative when it comes to cooking and baking! I absolutely love southern comfort food, getting back to my Mediterranean roots, and eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, so I cook and bake all the time! I can’t wait to have a recipe box stuffed with all kinds of great recipes that I can pass down to my future children, and I’m looking forward to sharing my favorite recipes!
Faith:
I’m Roman Catholic, and Jesus is the absolute rock of my life! I love talking about faith, answering tough questions, and inspiring and encouraging others on their walk with Christ!
College Advice:
I’m currently a rising junior at the University of Notre Dame, so at this point in my college career, I’ve definitely learned a thing or two! From study tips to having a social life and learning how to manage your time, I’ve learned so much these past two years of college that I wish someone would have told me after I graduated high school!
Decorating Tips:
Pinterest is by far my favorite social media platform, and I could look through home decor ideas for hours on end! I absolutely love creating beautiful and relaxing spaces, and I can’t wait to share different idea boards, home decor sales, and tours of rooms I’ve decorated myself!
Good Housekeeping:
At this point in my life, I’m starting to learn all about what goes into being a self-sustaining adult (the clothes and dishes aren’t going to wash themselves!). So, to help y’all learn what goes into keeping a home running, I’ll be sharing everything that I learn from my mother (and Martha Stewart, of course) about cleaning, organization, gardening, home essentials, & more!
A little more about me:
- I’m majoring in Political Science with a double minor in Real Estate and Business Economics.
- White peonies, blue hydrangeas, magnolia trees, dogwood trees, and spring bring me so much joy!
- Texas is my happy place, but central Indiana is definitely growing on me (thanks to my boyfriend, Jacob!).
- I love going on long road trips and traveling in general! Seeing new places and visiting old ones is always so much fun!
- Some people love coffee, but I wouldn’t survive without tea lattes! English Breakfast is my morning kickstarter, but I love London Fogs & matcha lattes too!
